2007 Loimer, Riesling “Terrassen”, Kamptal, Austria
This austrian dry Riesling “Terrassen” from the estate Loimer offers a charming perfume of yellow stone fruits and dried fruits. Very lush fruit on the palate, spice, vivid acidity and a light smoky minerality. No signs of broadness or too much alcohol, instead fresh&crisp and offers great drinking pleasure and calls load for a “Wiener Schnitzel”…
Here in Berlin for around 15 Euro, so this is a great value. BTW, keep your eyes also open for 07 Grüner Veltliner “Terrassen” from Loimer.
