Best Bourgogne Rouge

Sure–I had it last two years ago as part of a vertical of C-D B. Rouge 1999-2010. It was a bit closed (not seriously, though), but the best wine of the bunch. I don’t think it would hurt to try one soon.

Regionals from C-D, Leroy, LeFlaive, and a few others are priced like 1ers from other vignerons. Is the value there?

I’m a barely into Burgundy but I have really enjoyed Thibault Liger-Belair. I bought a second 6 bottles of the 2010 Les Grands Chaillots and am drinking it like a fish.
