Red ~
D. Laurent Beaune Greves 2002
Stephen Tanzer:
(13.7% natural alcohol) Dark red. Superripe aromas of black raspberry, cherry, redcurrant, leather, spices and licorice, plus a light floral nuance. Dense, ripe and fruity; a very fat Beaune wine that finishes with excellent grip and length and a late flavor of chocolatey oak. 90-92 points

White ~
J. Drouhin Chassagne Montrachet Marquis de Laguiche 2004

Perfumed, classic aromas of citrus fruits, peach and white flowers. Sweet, smooth and full; quite creamy for the vintage. A dense, rich, ripe wine with lovely balance and considerable elegance. Finishes broad and persistent. Made from Morgeot and Vignes Blanches vines averaging nearly 40 years of age. A more classic style than the comparatively exotic 2005. 91 points
