Not today, but when this is all over, I would love to hear what infrastructure changes (if any) you have to make in order to accommodate the crushing hordes of BerserkerDay. I assume you at least have to add memory and CPU cores. Do you also have to spin up additional servers? In the Venn diagram of life, I sit squarely at the intersection of “wine geek” and “computer geek”, so I’m very curious.

My host amps up the system in preparation for the event, not sure of the specifics but it’s all to keep the server at 50% load or lower. It’s only active for a few days, as it’s only needed for that amount of time, and it’s worked last 3 events!
