I know, I’ve had a horrendous history with Paypal and sort of gave up on them. But Friday was enough incentive to get that resolved and send in some jack.
Not sure if this is best spot for this post but I will start here. In anticipation of BDIII coming Friday I thought we should publish some info on the wines being offered. I say so because I no next to nothing about the majority of the wines on the list. I will get it started with what I know, look forward to others offering their take on wines being offered.

I started around 7 am last year and got all kinds of whining from the West Coasters, so I’ll aim for 7:30 or 8 am so they can get their beauty sleep…
Folks - tell your friends who are wine lovers to sign up and be around for it! Spread the word! We’ve got enough offers to go around…share it on Facebook, Twitter, email, whatever
I think that is west coast, yes. I just checked and the offers started at 9:30 am last year (east coast) so it seems 8am (wc) is 11am (ec) is our starting point - based on Todd’s comment.
The ITB’ers really stepped up this year, with 60 ITB participants, roughly 100 offers…
PSA - I will likely NOT be available for lots of detailed questions and helping individuals out tomorrow, so please check the threads and pose your questions to the rest of the community for assistance in working through BerserkerDay. I’ll be madly timing when to post offers and dealing with last minute changes, issues, etc. Consider your admin ‘off duty’ for the day, at least in terms of personal interaction!
Ok…final count is 60 different wineries/retailers/sellers, and at least one turned down because the offer is not ‘good enough’ for my peeps.
I’m guessing a total of about 100 different offers, all in, since several are representing two or more wineries, and have two or more offers that will be posted.
Bummer I missed the opportunity!! I would have loved to introduce you to our new family brand at Mountain Terraces!! I have to get off FB and Twitter and pay more attention here!
Folks, I’m going to make the BerserkerDay forum member-only starting tomorrow, so you have to be a registered member in order to view the deals, and, therefore, take advantage of them to make your purchases.
I’ve got the preview list for Donors ready to go - if you haven’t yet renewed, or haven’t yet become a Donor, now’s your last shot, as I plan to send it out late this afternoon.
I’ve merged threads, and made this one an announcement again. I’ll move it back to BerserkerDay Forum tomorrow, and put a different, new announcement up for the other forums as the BerserkerDay forum will be visible ONLY to registered members.
FYI, further on the Public Service Announcement, BerserkerDay is a day where I am bombarded with ‘I forgot my password’ emails. I have asked the moderators to help me out with those, as it is unlikely I will be able to get to them myself. If you send an email to me tomorrow and I don’t reply, it’s because I need Valium and don’t have any…
Never before will this be more apropos than tomorrow, and I know this ALREADY: THIS IS MADNESS!!
THIS…IS…BERSERKERDAY!!!
How about, I log on, tell Todd I’m ready and then he can post Cabot.
After that, I don’t care.
(Actually, I am looking to pick up some Stefania and Windy Oaks)
Just a note on Stefania, Paul will be flying back from Minneapolis, so if you have questions and email him, he said he wouldn’t be able to respond until maybe 1:30PM PST, so don’t get worried if you don’t hear back immediately.
Jim and Judy (Windy Oaks) will also be gone, but their son Spencer will be around to help should anything arise.
