Yes, being ready and tested out is crucial, but has its “risks.” Looks like the result of your “risk” puts your experience in the positive column! One thing I do know is that there are a good number of lurkers out there for every member’s name/post you recognize.
It was a lot of fun last year - that was the first year I participated.
I think you just stumbled into something for those of us that won’t be available on Berserkerfest.
I propose the following to anyone that has enough wine to go around, open your site 24 hours in advance (password protected ie BF2). This will help those that won’t be around during the day. Just an idea.
Dan - our Berserkers Day order page is ID and p-word protected like last year and access codes are included in the offer. If someone is really not going to be around on the 27th and they are interested in ordering wine from us - please PM me and I would be happy to provide info on our cab offer and access.
We are looking to have an e-commerce site (without any credit card processing, just taking orders and forwarding them securely on to the owners, so there is no actual trade done, as WineBerserkers is not licensed to transact wine) whereby the wineries will enter their own items, prices, and quantities, and it works just like a standard shopping cart (again, without the actual transaction taking place, just forwarding on to the winery/owner). Each deal will be posted on the forum to encourage discussion and allow people to ask questions and get feedback from others, as that’s half the fun!
Hi all, newbie here looking forward to joining in the Berserker Day fun. If the e-commerce timestamp site is happening, can you explain how this works for a buyer? Thanks!
