Berserkerday and hallucinations are synonymous!
Looking forward to taking part once again!!!
Me too!!! Looking forward to all the BD15 festivities!!
Nice try Sam Altman. AI continues to prove it is no smarter and infinitely less useful than my 11 year old Great Pyrenees as evidenced by the absurd claim that there are anything but Pros to buying wine on BerserkerDay. We will not be fooled into letting you front run us on these deals. We (unlike my giant halfwit dog) know the tennis ball you pretended to throw is still firmly in your hand.
Who’s a good boy?!?!
Todd, Brig, when are you notifying producers if we made the cut? Hoping to be a seller again-- fingers and toes crossed!
It’s just me, and I’m working on it today and the next few days - I will notify those who ARE participating as sellers and post in here when that has been done.
My 3/4 wit dog certainly knows HIS tennis ball is still in my hand.
Bumping this thread reminded me that I didn’t post the completion of this task in this thread, just in the other ‘discussion’ thread on BD15.
There will be a bunch of unique, fun, and useful options for this BerserkerDay, fully trying to utilize the many features of our new software capabilities…and given the selectivity of this year’s group of sellers, I’m guessing they realize they need to step up this year, so expect some great threads/offers!
Elin McCoy highlights BerserkerDay 15 in her most recent newsletter on Bloomberg
That’s great and @Mike_Evans and @Marcus_Goodfellow get some play!
Top Oregon winemaker Marcus Goodfellow, whose eponymous winery has participated for more than a decade, explains why it’s a win-win for producers. “We sell a ton of wine, and buyers come to visit us and join our mailing list.” He offers three to four “packages,” and one of this year’s will be the debut of his first sparkling wines, including single-vineyard blanc de blancs.
I know Elin was interviewing @Erin_Di_Costanzo as well, but perhaps her part didn’t make it in - still featured, along with a couple others! I had to tell her that I would not release the entire list of sellers, can’t let the cat out of the bag!
That was a selfie shot taken for the Instagram interview I had with Philippe André for BerserkerDay 13, Elin asked for a headshot, and I literally have no head shots taken since 1995 - and nobody wants to see my headshot from back then, cello in hand, Sally Jesse Raphael glasses on my face…
We had a great chat! Very cool to be featured, no need for my ramblings to be quoted directly. Excited & flattered to be included in the day and the newsletter.
Wow, great piece. But we all on the hook for having “entertaining” posts . No pressure folks
Great article and who could resist that face!
I think McCoy captures the essence of the event and what makes the day(s) so exciting to us in the wine drinking community and to the participating sellers.
I can’t say enough good things about the names behind the vendors. They are so passionate, knowledgeable, willing to share their thoughts and experiences. That part of the equation is a huge part of the experience, not just on BD, but throughout the year
We were stoked to have a nice little mention in the article — excited for BD15!!
