Todd, the issue is the fact that links can be accessed outside of the WB website. As you said, I don’t have access to the threads as I am not GC/MC; so I cannot see the tags and whatever people are referring to here. However, I can access several offers either through my email, or by simply by looking up the producer and logging into the website. If one doesn’t know which are early purchase offers, how can people be penalized? That’s why I suggested having the producer explicitly state “DO NOT PURCHASE TODAY” on their own website once logged in.
Regardless, I’m not planning to purchase anything today, but just wanted to make it clear to everyone that reading the titles of the threads only applies if those threads are visible to the user.

ah, got it, you are specifically referring to mailers - sellers who send out emails with links to order. Yeah, beyond my control there!

You have to advise non Berserker Business sellers not to send links in email blasts pre BD. Should be FYI only. “Go to Wineberserkers on BD and look for our terrific offer!”
Once their thread had launched on BD, they can add the link and re-blast.

Before even looking at the offers here on WB, I went onto the Internet and put in a company’s name . I suspected they might be having an offer. They do; one of the options to pick from is Berserker Day 14, and that showed on my phone without actually going to the website. Just sayin’.
