August is usually a very slow time for red wine purchases, but I thought I’d give some incentive to get active.
Two Berserker specials, good for the month of August:
- $20 per bottle off of Congruence 2009 Napa Valley Cabernet. This wine is composed of 92% cabernet sauvignon, 5% petit verdot and 3% cabernet franc. The cabernet is split 80/20 between Coombsville and Oak Knoll fruit. It’s taken a while for everything to knit together, but recent tastings have convinced me it’s ready to go without significant amounts of airing. Tasting notes can be found at:
Utilize coupon code “WB09Napa” at checkout to get the discount. Cost after discount is $55.
- $10 per bottle off of Congruence 2011 Grist Vineyard Zinfandel. This wine is 96% Grist zin (Dry Creek Valley) and 4% petite sirah, also from Dry Creek Valley. Notes for it can be found at:
Utilize coupon code “WBGrist” at checkout to obtain the discount. Cost after discount is $30.
My ordering system seems to have a bug that does not allow the application of individual codes to individual wines, so you have to make two orders if you want to buy both wines. Note the two orders and combine them for shipping when you check out. I’ll see what I can do about this issue early next week. Also, don’t forget to note shipping holds.
Last thing, due to our country’s arcane laws, you might not be able to place an order directly from my website due to the state to which you are shipping. If you run into that issue, email me at steve@congruencewines.com and we’ll see what we can do. Thanks.
