Not directly WB related, but DC area folks can go to an upcoming Cognac tasting (June 16th) with Amy Pasquet if you are interested. Jay West has done a lot of great Pasquet selections over the years, so it should be a great event.

Sad to see that I missed thisāwish Iād known about it last year!
Would be very interested in a follow-up like this for Scotchāespecially so if we could manage to source an interesting Islay malt, perhaps a Laphroaig or Lagavulin (or ideally some IB thereof).
you can try to do it if you want, but the logistics are pretty annoying. I probably wonāt do another one of these unless I get hard commitments and people venmoing me the money first because 10% or more of the people who had committed never ended up buying the product.
