My note, as well as yours, is in the non-Commerce Corner post, as I moved tasting notes from here to there, where they should be…
but put them here!
Dr. Chang, what’s next buddy!?!
Enjoying a pour right now. Delish.
I’m down to 1/3 of a bottle.
We need the next vintage tee’d up!
I’m gonna work on something for BD with pasquet.
In the meantime, you may want to give this a try.
What’s the ABV? My only nit on this 1985 is a bit of heat from the 50%. Would love to see it at 46% or less.
I have an extra of the Beserker cognac if someone missed out or wants another.
Add a splash of water. It’s no sin, and will make a big difference. A “drop or two” is not enough.

What would you think if some trailer trash dude were to drop a cube of ice or three into it? Seems scandalous, no?
A small cube is also no sin
It’s just future water.
3 cubes? Your host needs to step up his ice game.
Clearly, he is a country bumpkin

That 1980 is at 52%; you could look at these if you want lower proof; I’m a bourbon drinker so 52% is low proof for me.

The rare is a blend but the youngest eau de vie is 50 years old.
He is his own host, ruins the fine liquor with a glass full of cubes to completely eliminate any texture de eloped over the 30-40 years in barrel
