The hours are dragging so slowly. The wine stockings are hung by the chimney with flair in hope that St. Berserker soon will be there. Single malt scotch and cookies have been left out. I’ve been good this year, so there had best be some below cost offerings under my wine rack. Is it morning yet?

Hmm, good point. What to open on Berserker Eve? Decided to go with my last bottle of 2006 Holdredge Mazie Rose Pinot Noir. Seemed fitting. And my 2007 Vincents are all gone.

In the Jewish religion, erev means the evening before a holiday.
Isn’t tomorrow a holiday???

Actually the Jewish day goes (as opposed to people like me, Jewish Dagos ) from sundown to sundown, so it would have already started. But that Toddalah, he don’t look Jewish to me!

Opened at 5:30, first glass poured at 7:00. Bottle gone at 8:30. I am not sure if my wife took down more or if I did, but that was a nice bottle of wine.

I like Green Valley wines, this one did not disappoint!
