Great find, I must have missed that, I would have been all over that.

I went a little crazy with this sale; ~9cs

I’ll buy the extra off you on Commerce Corner at some point.

This was Benchmark’s best sale in a while. I grabbed 2x 21 Faury St. Joseph VV $27, 3X 14 Cobb Jack Hill $30, 2x 17 Duplessis MdT $27, and 2x 18 Patricia Green Mysterious $37. Lots of other great deals that disappeared quick. $29 for 19 Batailley, several 15 and 16 Anthill Farms SVDs for <$30, 19 Caterwaul NV for $30, and several Walter Scott SVDs for <$40.

Shipping to Reno is generally pretty solid on pricing. $21 for a 6 pack back in March

wtf this sale had 2017 patricia green notorious for $5?

Good house wine!

Yea… I spent 20 min sorting sale from high price to lower and seeing no deals. Had to sort from low to high, where the deals were!

Went back and snagged the last 3 19 S.C. Guillard GC Les Corbeaux. Missed that on my first round. Thanks for heads up.

Hi all, as I said above, I had an issue with my order. While the sale prices appeared in my cart, I was charged a higher price when the order went through. I assume this was an accident. I emailed Benchmark and they asked for more info on what I thought I was being charged vs what I was charged. Of course, the sale prices are gone, so I have nothing on hand to point to. FWIW, the net price came out to about a 3rd more than what I was quoted in my cart - not good.

Could kind berserkers share with me confirmation or other receipt of sale if you bought any of the following wines at the sale price? I really appreciate the help.

Just to be clear, Benchmark has NOT rejected my request to correct the sale price (at least not yet). I will update on the outcome. What a strange situation.

I actually had that happen once several years ago, but caught it pre-check out. I save screenshots of the prize and reached out to benchmark who helped correct the issue on the backend.

Not sure what the remedy is post completion of the purchase.

I’ve had that happen with them too. They ultimately refunded the difference via gift card. Sale prices:

Walter Scott was $39
Castilla Px was $34
Usseglio was $34
Margheria was $33
San Rocco was $32
Duc was $30
Chablis was $29
Pride was $30

I would not be happy if they offered a gift card. The quoted price was correct when I paid. The charge was different. That is obviously a MAJOR no-no. I don’t have a screenshot, but then again why the hell would I? If anyone can offer timestamp with their order confirmation, that would be great as well.

Your list of prices tracks with what I recall as well. Thank you for sharing.

The Walter Scott X Novo Pinot Noir was $37. I can’t recall, but it seemed like the Walter Scott Freedom Hill Pinot Noir was $37 as well. I bought the remaining 2021 Walter Scott Koosah Chardonnays for $37…

I would have gobbled up those Chardonnay’s if they were still there.

Sounds like a very cool purchase! I would have swung at it. Definitely post notes when you pop it.

If the price was correct when you paid, you should still be able to see that authorization amount in your cc info online. Or call your cc provider and ask them. If there is any blowback from the seller, the most straightforward thing to do would be to tell them to simply cancel the order.

Prices probably changed between OP’s adding to cart and then checking out. I saw a bunch of prices change when I went back to get more of a couple things or things I missed.

I’m low key glad I didn’t see those Walter Scotts, would’ve ended up with a much larger purchase…
