Ha! I may have to start drinking more to create space for the latest Bedrock release…
I was eyeing this too. I’m probably in for a couple bottles of the Belloni and a few others
I love the Hudson Syrah. Cooler climate and full of energy but still manages to be silky and lovely. I find nice savory notes always there too, which adds an interesting side. Its the full package for my tastes.
Does anyone know when will Chris release Under the Wire this year?
Podcast is up, which is always unhelpful with trying to limit purchases
I feel like this is usually later in the spring. I think the last couple years have been around May or June
They really should get a medal for their sales skills. Morgan is pretty impressive with his ability to articulate the wine-making, tasting, etc…
I am on the fence. I had the last 2-3 Bedrock releases delayed so I am still getting wine from past releases in March. My go to, the Lulu, I still have some from last release and the wine I was hoping for Gambrels isn’t part of this release. The only wine with any appeal is Esola. So this might be a small order for me.
Ok I listened to the podcast. It looks like it’s going to be:
Belloni
Bedrock
Esola
I’ll fine out in a few days but curious, what does the Judge SB and Lulu usually go for? I’m guessing Amor and Buffalo are $75?
$36/$22
$65/$58
Nice to here where some of that Lazy Dog fruit went! Plus some other declassified grapes.
Based on the across the board quality of ‘23, I am backing up the truck as Chris would say.
Yeah, classic podcast outcome. I was going to get one bottle of that, now I feel like I need at least three.
Is this the first year with Belloni?
I think so
unless they omitted wines, you can see everything they’ve ever made using their drinking windows thing
Ya I am too, but had a shipment from another vineyard delayed in below freezing temps.
Thinking of doing the same, after swearing I would only buy 6, but how is the 2024 vintage?
I got to say the 2021 Buffalo is freaking awesome. It’s going to age well, but despite having multiple bottles, I am not going to have the opportunity to find out.
How do y’all find the Judge SB vs the regular one?
I enjoyed last release’s.
