“We are writing to let you know that our Fall 2023 Bedrock Release will open onTuesday, July 18, 2023.
Those who have not yet placed an order will receive the first-come, first-served Waiting List Release on Wednesday, July 26.
This release includes a mix of wines from the 2021 and 2022 vintages. Along with the 2022 Old Vine Zinfandel, Bedrock Heritage, Evangelho Heritage, Old Hill Ranch, Beeson Zinfandel, and Dolinsek Heritage, the release will feature the 2021 Monte Rosso Cabernet and 2021 Ode to Lucien (from the old vine Mourvèdre at Bedrock Vineyard). On the white side, we will be releasing the tiny amounts of Bien Nacido Roussanne, Monte Rosso Ancient Vine Semillon and Compagni Portis Heritage White Wine.
In assembling the 2022 blends, we have been quite smitten by both the beauty and richness of the vintage. This is something we will go into while recording the Bedrock Wine Conversations release podcast, which we will aim to get up a few days prior to the release.
The fall release wines will ship in October, and our pickup days will take place in October as well.
In the meantime, as a reminder we are up and running at our downtown Sonoma tasting room in the Joseph Hooker House. We’re taking appointments online hereand are open six days a week (closed Wednesdays). We’d love to see you.

Old Hill, Beeson, Bedrock Heritage, and maybe OVZ. Or get some Dolinsek and no OVZ…started buying significantly less OVZ since our need for daily drinkers has gone way down, even though it punches above the price point.
No doubt! Ive just accumulated so much Bedrock over the years that i need to get to work on the single Vineyards. I know…not a horrible problem to have, ha!
