Glad this continues to be useful! FYI, can also be used with older bottles of scotch and lambic beers!

Yep. It’s saved me more than once on a really old bottle of Scotch or other whiskey - you know, the one in the back of the liquor cabinet that’s super rare and irreplaceable, so you hate to finish the last few sips because you can’t get another bottle. Then, SNAP, the stopper breaks, leaving the old cork plug in the neck. Durand to the rescue!
