For those looking to share offers with Berserkers in your area, here’s the thread:
Shippers are pure evil
There is also a base-fee just because alcohol shipments are required to get an over-21 signature. That’s something like $7 additional before anything has been packed or weighed.
Which is a ripoff, because I don’t remember the last time anyone took my signature. So far UPS and Fedex just drop it off and knock on the door.
Yabbut we must think of the children.
Not around the forum enough to have seen or known about Newbiepaloza, but have heard some good things about a couple producers that took part. Do we know yet who will be back? Not trying to get secret info, just curious, so if it’s a you’ll-have-to-wait-and-see answer, totally get that, too.

Somebody is owed a lot of $7
Without knowing what will be available, what are folks hoping to see?
I’m a little oversubscribed on Cab and Zin at the moment and I’m hoping for some of the less common varietals, very specifically Cinsault and Gamay. I’ll also be looking for Chenin.
Ummmmm . . .
Yep, I’ll be offering my Cinsault once again; my Carignane once again; and a bunch of other non-traditional bottlings . . .and possibly, just possibly some pinots
Cheers
I had a bottle of your ‘17 Carignane recently and it was excellent. Hope to get some more this year, thanks Larry.
Also, when will your Zoom tastings start again?

Yes. Those were fun.
Larry, you should create a Berserker Zoom-Sampler package for BD, and that way it’s all a bunch on Berserkers on the Zoom.

Smart!

I rarely disagree with you, Brig, but I’ve always looked at it the other way. I’ve marveled at how I can order a 50 pound case of wine from New York on Monday, get it on Friday, and it costs $60 or whatever for packing, styro shipping case box, and delivery across the country to my doorstep. It’s always seemed like a ridiculous bargain and convenience – of course, less so now than a few years ago.
Well,
From another thread. Richard really adds a special facet to BD, so unique and a terrific guy.
In the 80s, I recall a comment circulated about that 1974 BV which claimed there were two releases, one problematic.
No help on the BV winemaker.
Coincidently, it appears that a rare BV by Tchelistcheff will be included in BerserkerDay next week.
Hi all,
This is a plea for those offering on BD 13 to add what shipper you use in your offer - I live on a gated property and after endless hassle with UPS etc. that will not call when they arrive at our gate, I only buy if someone ships FedEx. With them, I just route the package to my local Walgreens. If you put the shipper you use in the offer, I will not have to contact you to find out this info before I buy! Thanks!
Larry, thank you for using FedEx.
I just signed up for another Alaska Airlines credit card. I need to spend $3,000 to get the 68,000 mile bonus. Hmmmm Shouldn’t be too hard.
Finally, the right answer.

UPS Access Point provides a similar service. You can find a local drop off. Might be a CVS, or a Michael’s, or soething else.

Yes, available from UPS with a fee. I believe $5.99 if you route after shipment and before 1st delivery attempt
I thought you could direct to an access point as a default with no fee

Good idea, thanks! (Unfortunately, I have three options and none involve FedEx to WA — sorry!)
Just listened in to the IG live with Todd and a few other berserker day businesses and wow!! The offers being mentioned are unreal. All places on the IG live are going to be must buys. One of the deals may be the biggest discount they ever offered.
