I was suspicious when I saw this on distributor close-out, but it was so cheap I had to buy a case and try it. Snake-eyes. This wine is beyond tragically horrible and not even as a joke would I foist it upon friend or foe. Any ideas other than dumping and recycling? Can I water plants with it or will the alcohol kill the plants? And rest assured, there is plenty of alcohol.
Find an empty bottle of Autriment Dit and make some money?

i used to do some work for a winery and for festivals we would make spritzers with rose and 7-up. it was pretty refreshing and the sweetness and bubbles might overpower whatever is bad in the wine.
I can’t even think of a recipe that calls for rose so you could cook with it.

it worked well with a nice rose and drinks pretty well on a super hot day. id give it a shot. whats wrong with the rose? just old?
It’s an alcoholic mess. It is a shame to see this winemaker/winery is no longer in business, but if he/they released other wines like this, it’s not hard to see why.

hey keep the bad rose away from beserkerfest I will be bringing my rose and from what my customers tell me, Its pretty darned good.

Why not return it?
The worst Rose I ever had was the 05 PAX. I grabbed a few bottles for a party … mainly because they were cool bottles … and it was PAX … there should be some level of quality. I gave a second bottle a try … equally horrible. I had a 3rd bottle that I could have returned to Winex … but I kept it as a decoration. So if you are going to make crappy Rose … at least put it in a cool bottle so we can use it as an ornament.
