Ser Winery - Two Magnums - Ser 2016 Pinot Noir Tondre Grapefield, Santa Lucia Highlands
The Tondre Grapefield is one of the most famous vineyards in the Santa Lucia Highlands AVA on the Central Coast of California. I selected primarily the Pommard clone in 2016 for this wine. The resulting wine has warm summer red fruit, ripe black plum, cherry, dried herbs and with time an earthy quality deepening the complexity. Elegant and fine tannins round out the palate and provide a lengthy, juicy finish.
