I didn’t put in a description of the lot - these are special wines and rare in 1.5L format.

First vintage of Royer Vineyard, volcanic red soils, don’t tell me young vines can’t make great wine - see '75 Eyrie South Block Reserve, and '73 Stag’s Leap Cabernet. Young vine legends! Add Royer to the list!!

Own-rooted 20 year old Pinot Noir vines at Silvershot on the cold west side of the Eola Hills, cuttings directly from nearby Carter Vineyard, savory, saline and red fruits, still a baby. Royer is up on the hill east of Silvershot, but down at Silvershot it’s all fossilized marine soil.

Finally Bjornson, adjacent to Seven Springs on the east side of the Eola Hills, volcanic red soils, so lithe and floral, especially so in the mild 2019 vintage. Don’t miss this trio!
