Facing due east, these vines are nourished by morning sun, but also shielded from afternoon rays. The sedimentary Willakenzie soil and glacial erratic stones that hail from Montana are the fortunate result of the Missoula Floods, over 15,000 years ago. Sitting at 250-350 ft., the warmer microclimate paired with this soil creates a spicy dark red fruit character for savory wines that are bold, and age worthy!
