The Montecillo Vineyard is the jewel of Sonoma’s Moon Mountain appellation, a region perched above the fog on the ridgeline between Napa and Sonoma, on the western slopes of the Mayacamas Mountains. With Oakville and Mt. Veeder at its back and the wide Sonoma Valley at its feet, the Moon Mountain AVA offers exceptional conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon. And in 2023, the conditions were optimal to make a legendary wine.
