ArteVino by Eurocave at Costco

Anyone have any experience with ArteVino by Eurocave units sold by Costco?

No, but I have a Vinocave (50ish bottle) from Costco 5 years back without issue…knock on wood.

Thanks. I know there are alot of Eurocave fans here and I know some have cited Costco as a good source for wine cellars. Trying to narrow down my choices and was looking for any feedback on this unit.

I didn’t know Artevino was produced by Eurocave. It’s the brand of the unit I own, as well as several of my friends (in no small part due to my recommending it). Everybody’s happy with it, apparently. I don’t use mine any more now that I have a passive cellar, so can’t comment on longevity (used it for 7 years w/o any problems).

Costco is having another sale on the 200 bottle ArteVino - $1,799 incl shipping. Anyone have updated experience with this unit?

Got mine about 7-8 months ago and have been pleased. I haven’t completely filled it up yet, but getting close and it will probably be around 160-170ish when I do (almost all burg type bottles)

I bought 2 during a similar sale from Costco. They were delivered in pretty good shape (one minor ding) and the set-up was pretty routine. Mine are both full and depending on your shelf configuration, it will max out around 175 bottles unless you take shelves out and stack several layers of bottle-on-bottle. I don’t have the best shelf set-up in one since I like having a shelf tall enough to hold open bottles and decanters at “cellar” temp. Both of mine are on the same circuit and they really don’t draw much power once they are at temp (with bottles inside to provide thermal mass) and they are pretty quiet without any fan noise. The wooden shelves are pretty simple without bearings or rails, so they slide directly on metal L-brackets installed in the cabinet. Not super smooth when sliding, but no issue for me to dig out bottles from the back. No regrets to this point.
