Armagnac - what is your favorite?

Just returned from Paris and after a couple of nice Armagnacs at Taillevent and Willi’s Wine Bar, I’m eager to explore. I bought a 1979 Castarede from duty free at CDG on the way home with the last 40 Euros I had, I’ll report back once jet lag subsides and I’m ready for a tipple.

I’ve enjoyed Darroze from various domains, all nice, also widely available.

My favourite so far has been a 1974 Ferte de Partenay.
