US State Dept hs issued a shelter in place notice - note the first alert was only for a few locations on the west coast but this later expanded notice is mucg broader and Ive seen reliable reports from Playa del Carmen and Tulum of fires, etc. (link works though it says technical difficulties)

A huge number of the neighborhood shops - OXXO? were blown up and a lot of people depend on them for basics daily. .
