It’s a Commonwealth - they aren’t even IN the Union, technically - it’s some sort of permanent land lease. EVICT!

My local store has it on sale for $24 and I was thinking about giving it a shot. The only thing I know about Burgundy is that it was named after Will Farrel’s character, in Anchorman. Let that guide you.

Amazing wine, especially for that price. Anything under $40 it’s worth buying IMO. My last two notes:

8/21/2009 Has benefited from several months rest, stepping way above it’s price/status point. Very feminine and pretty wine, mixing florals and spices. Refined and elegant for a village wine, hard to keep my paws off them. (294 views)

3/30/2009 Once this wine unwinds, should be explosive. The nose is already captivating, throwing off intense cinnamon and bright red berry fruit. While tight, you can taste the potential here. Very pure, high-toned, clean fruit - once the initial tannin blast subsides, your left with grippy fruit/minerals, should be amazing in time.
