OK, so when I was "post-doc-ing in New York in the late eighties I was too poor for many fine wine/dining experiences (picture an incessant work tread-mill), so I’m hoping to make up for those ‘lost years.’ Where, pray tell then, should one go, to experience Piedmont nirvana (if possible?) in the NY environs??? I’d gladly BYOB if the wines are way over-priced…
