Another Summer shipping thread

Here is a posted shipping policy.

Having read that I would like to know what your ideas of “extreme weather conditions for shipping at departure or or delivery locations” means to you.

  • Over 80°
  • Over 85°
  • Over 90°
  • Over 95°
  • 100°+

That word “may” is your problem right there. I’m afraid the story is dreadful.

No dreadful story just a very surprising delivery. When I made the purchase on Tuesday and chose shipping over winery pick-up I noted the weather hold policy and figured they would wait until Late October/November after Indian Summer. I came home Thursday to an unexpected box of wine in my garage. Wednesday it was 95° and yesterday high 80s. Bottles were warm but would not have been if I knew they were coming as my Wife works from home and could have diverted them from the hot garage to the cool cellar.

Obviously their idea of extreme shipping weather varies from mine. No email saying they shipped. A little communication goes a long way.
