Me too. But she will have no idea and won’t care. She won’t/can’t drink wine these days anyway (vodka and tequila only, basically ).
So for the white she went with
Toscana, Trebbiano et al., Cosimo Maria Masini, “Daphné” 2017 for $71.
For the red she went with Boca Gattinara Vallana 2007 for $98.
She said dinner/wine were a big hit .
Thanks all for your input -she took your advice and went with 2 wines recommended here. I don’t think she ever contacted the sommelier-told them and what she wanted based on your input .
And I sent her the link-first time she ever read a WB thread-was blown away by it .
