Angels share/devils cut

Devil’s cut happens in the process of the making of whiskey, but does it also occur in the process of wine?

its a little different with wine because, unlike whiskey, you keep a wine barrel topped off. the air that replaces the liquid as it evaporates is typically not wanted with wine. Also, wine is kept temp controlled and cooler than typical room temp, whereas whiskey is purposely stored in a building that often gets very hot and very cold.
