My local group did this last fall. It was a terrific tasting, but I just finished posting the photos and notes. These are wonderful wines, especially when paired with the right food.
You can find photos and more detailed notes on my website:

WCC BLIND AMARONE at Dorato’s Resturant, Guilderland, NY (10/7/2010)
My regular Albany group got together to drink Amarone from a wide range of vintages. Wines were bagged and served double blind. That is, we knew they were Amarones, but not which ones (except any that we brought).
The food at Dorato’s was superb. Chef Mike Dorato did a great job with the food, and these rich dishes were among the best matches to the wines that we’ve had in a long time.
FLIGHT 1
With Filet of Beef in an Amarone Reduction Sauce (made with Masi Amarone according to Chef Tom). Tasty and a good match to the wines.

SUMMARY
All in all, my excitement for aged Amarone is renewed. The oldest wines showed brilliantly. The younger wines showed great potential. With the delicious, well-matched food, this was one of my favorite tastings in recent memory.
