Air time for some 1995 Barolo

Eagerly awaiting notes on the Altare Arborina Greg, had one last February that was quite nice although the aromatics were all over the place ranging from sublime mushroom//truffles to just okay probably due to not decanting at the restaurant lovely wine in spite of the hide and seek aromas.

I’ll write the notes from the tasting up later today, but the Arborina showed beautifully. All of the wines are in very yearly maturity and if you like mature Barolo you have maybe 5 more years before those notes start becoming prominent… perhaps longer. Opening these in the AM was definitely the right call - they all showed wonderfully. Thanks for all the advice again everyone.
