I’m too old for this organizing crap, but if someone want to organize a dinner with the theme, “Women winemakers of California,” I will put up a bottle of properly-aged Scarecrow (I have it back to 2005 and it is made by Celia Welch). My only requirement is that it not be on Monday. I can also provide wine by Carole Meredith, the first woman inducted into the Vintner’s Hall of Fame, Heidi Barrett of Paradigm and Helen Turley of all over the place.

Have fun, BUT please allow people to show up with only one bottle if they want. Why? Because my wife does not like events with massive amounts of wine per person and she will want to attend this event. She does not understand that if someone else brings 3 bottles, she does not have to taste all three of those.
