23 and 25 JASUD and JASUD Own Rooted

I am thrilled that there are so many threads on Beta / Jasud. Was not sure where to put this one and ended up starting a new thread.

Ketan graciously flew down from Napa to celebrate my Birthday and brought a Jasud study. 23 and 25. We opened them at stop #3 and dinner #2 at a buy out at Pizzeria Sei. Will never forget this!!

The 23 base was recently bottled and was a wonderful wine. The 23 Own Rooted was a barrel sample. After hearing me talk about the wines for years Abe Schoener finally tasted them. He preferred the 23 base that had been bottled and lets just say he now understands what I have been raving about.. I was absolutely floored, stunned, blown away by the 25s! If Musigny was in Napa it would taste like 25 Jasud Own Rooted. It is so precise, deep and just pure emotional. Reminds me of Ketan!!!
