Aromas of orange peel, strawberry jam and cherries. Tge aromas carry onto the palate joined by a flinty minerality. This is excellent. Its medium bodied with silky tannins. Its one of those wines id never confuse with burgundy yet at the same time matches it in elegance. I had this with butternut squash, kale and farro

My sole big criticism is that the flint doesn’t work for me as well as burgundian limestome. I’ve voiced the same issue on Spatburgunder. Less of a issue with some plots of eola-amity chardonnay when planted on marine-sedentary soil as the end effect on teh wines ive had are very similar to chablis but I dont’ get that same impact on reds
