2022 Domaine Henri Gouges Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru Les Porêts Saint-Georges

How is there not a single note on this wine in CellarTracker? To top it of, it’s available for $75. For me this is generally the third best wine in the cellar after the LSG and Vaucrains. It’s a clos which generally means extra attention in the vineyard. I will likely buy blindly but can anyone provide any help?

Never mind. There are multiple entries for this wine in CT and I was looking at the wrong entry, one of the pitfalls of crowdsourcing. Here it is in case anyone wants to see it:

popped a ‘17 last year that was wonderful, buy with confidence

Does anyone have experience with the <>? Apparently from the oldest vines in the vineyard and a fair bit pricier.

I think you are referring to the HD. I’ve tasted the 2017 once and it was worth the price of admission. Excellent concentration and detail from the old vines. I have a few bottles in the cellar too.

For my palate and pocketbook, the Gouges Porrets is often one of the better values in Red Burgundy.
