2022 Arabilis Pinot Eola - Amity Hills - stunner

@Kenny_McMahon1

I bought a case for BD17. Eight chardonnay and 4 Pinot. Probably should have purchased a case of each :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

BRIGCAMPBELL WROTE:
March 6, 2026 - Oh boy, BD17 purchase and this is fantastic.
Good garnet color. 12.5 ABV but this isn’t a shadow of a Pinot. Gorgeous red fruit, cherry, and lots of cinnamon at the finish. Cayenne and cracked black pepper. Stem? Seems like there’s stem and oak working here but in the background.
Strong buy recommendation.

LOL. Thanks.

With the Cellartracker app on my phone if I’m anywhere near the slider bar for the score it dumps a 50 in there.

I’ve done it about 20 times.

I’d give this wine a 93 if you’re scoring at home.

“Parker gave me a 50.” LOL @brigcampbell

You’ll only get better in future vintages!

Only up from here :wink: Glad the 2022 shined though. That is a sleeper wine. That wine has 40% whole cluster. There were several whole bunches (candy crush) when we dumped into the press. Clones - Pommard (65%), 115 (27%), and Wadenswil (8%). Oak is mostly 2nd fill and neutrals - D&J’s, Francois Freres, Latour, and DAMY Allier 3YR.
