Fair point. The few 2020s I’ve had seem to have a bit more depth and concentration although I think the 2019s are excellent as well.
This was my impression of the quality of 2020 as well. I did like 2019, but 2020 that I tasted, including Chablis, have been outstanding and showed an extra gear.
2020 is a big step up. And in some cases- Morey-Coffinet being one- the wines are really exceptional.
not much. Champagne focused. But La Chablisienne is a must.
Picked up some PYCM 2020 today as well as some William Fevre. Keeping an eye out for more Chablis. La Chablisienne seems to be a pretty good value

I wonder if the early devastating frosts in 2021 played a role in determining 2020 price increases. It didn’t take a crystal ball to see the next vintage’s revenues freezing on the vine.
After popping a PYCM Saint Aubin last week, I reloaded on several of the PYCM line up. Extremely chiseled but it had an extra level of concentration than in other vintages. Great wine.
