Lovely weeknight drinker
2019 Hudelot Noellat Chambolle Musigny
Lovely bouquet of violets and crunchy red fruits. Lithe silky tannins with crisp acidity. Long languorous finish. Beautiful wine.

AC refers to village.
Sounds awesome - I don’t have any HN and I’m looking to change that.
+1
Only I had mine on a Saturday
Opens winesearcher. Scratches head. All this time I misunderstood “weeknight drinker”
Lol. Just funnin. Don’t @ me.
I love me some Hudelot Noellat. We had the '99 CM village a couple years back. Was fantastic at 20+ years.
Still have 5 bottles of the 2017 (which cost me 38€ each!). Haven’t checked on it since 2020.
I was rummaging through the under counter fridge looking for HN Bourgogne (it’s our house red) and this was mixed in there, so I figured fuck it lets live a little lol. I think I have a case of this scattered around my various wine storage.
The 19’ is just delicious in everyway the couple times I have had it. It’s one of the wines I wish I had more of.
I wish the 21 had dropped in price some like other producers; I would likely buy quite a few.
well done
Thanks for the encouraging note, Michael, and this follow-up. I did secure a bottle of the 21 and will look forward to opening it in a couple of years.
Slainte,
Mike
Right after I posted this I was looking at the 19 and 21 on benchmark’s site, and didn’t buy any, and then they sent me a $40 off $200 coupon…. lol bought Cedric Bouchard instead though.
Different person making the wines. How predictive Is that wine to current wines? My guess is the wines made by CVC will surpass those of his predecessor, but we really don’t know.
