A really lovely wine. Like a less heavy Gewürtztraminer. Loaded with white flowers and lychee. Medium impression on the palate with excellent length. Very complete and almost caressing while staying elegant. Excellent with lemony crab cakes.
Closest match is the Carlisle C-P and the price is similar at $24.
I’ve liked this producer for their St. Laurent which is age worthy and very elegant. Their wines are generally less in your face than Moric, which I also enjoy.

Umathum’s rosé is fantastic, too!

Nice note, but I’m confused by this statement. Aren’t Roter and Gelber Traminer simply clones of Gewürztraminer?

Yes, that is my impression as well, but this one is not quite as unctuous.
