2017 Mugnier Fuees, Chambolle-Musigny

The Aroma is signature for Mugnier Fuees offering Cherries, Tea, Almonds and Crushed Rocks..

This is beautifully balanced and develops complexity from initial sip to mid palate and finish. 2017 is not a power year for this wine which suits me just fine. Im picking up cherries with dusty tannins and a subtle minerality along with herbs.

I had this with beet roots, beet greens and roasted black seabass.

Now I’m down to one last bottle, a 2015.

Just finished the bottle . I enjoyed it but no where near as much as precious vintages. Given where prices are i much prefer the 2014 Jadot but i also loved the 2014 Mugnier
