Day one: Little bit on the harsher side on the up front palate but really falls apart on the finish. Some floral, chalk and subtle fruits. Not sure if this bottle represents this wine so will try on day 2 to see if it changes. Score withheld at this time.
Day Three: Much better wine. Tangerine, subtle lemons, flint and butterscotch. Good acidity overall and much more concentrated. Based on some comments I received from those who drink this wine from different vintages I would hold this for 2 to 3 years. 91 points.
Day Four Review: Even better. More crisp acidity. Really nice wine right now. Stone fruit, match stick, orange peel and a great minerality. This wine could be decanted!!! I would put this drinking window up to 5 plus years. Even better than day 3. 92 points

John,
Thanks for posting this note, and thanks for revisiting the wine as long as you did and offering up those notes.
This is obviously still a very young wine, and one that seems to have a bright future ahead of it. It’s nice to see folks not writing something off so quickly.
Cheers.
Larry it is my new way of doing tasting notes. Normally I do a day 3 review but this one benefitted from day 4.
