It’s nice that you go to all that effort, but I think there are already way too many attempts at ranking restaurants. Still I will visit Bras this summer, maybe knowing it’s the OAD 20th best restaurant in Europe will make the food taste better.

Interesting and provocative as always. The top 10 is a very interesting mix of more classical gourmand places (Louis XV and Troisgros) and more progressive spots (Dacosta and 41 Degrees).

Skip Bras as it has become institutionalized since Michel’s departure. Better you should go to Regis Marcon (closeby) where Stephane Ogier and I drank 1990 Dujac Clos de la Roche for 350 euros last week.

Funny enough we were planning on trying for both, but Bras needed to be secured earlier.

Well as long as you are going to be in the neighborhood I also had a very nice lunch at Maison Pic the next day. 75 minutes from Regis Marcon.

Too far I think we only have two days without kids, and our starting point is near Poitiers.

Ever been to Richard Clemenceau (sp?) in La Rochelle? 2*.

I have not but it is on my list, The list of white Burgs looks fabulous.

Nice to see YAM’TCHA on the list.
