Honey coloured and golden in the glass. Opened for one hour after it was pulled from the fridge. Honey with floral and an essence of apple on the nose. The first sip reveals more honey, apple coupled with an indescribable minerality, and perfectly integrated oak and acid. Long finish. Am I in Bordeaux? This is simply a delicious wine (the first of my three bottles) and I wish I would have bought more. Wow! 92 pts.
Awesome note, thx. I’ve been holding onto a couple of these in hopes of the oak integrating a bit more…sounds like it has!
The oak is certainly there, but this bottle had spot on integration. It really reminds of a solid white Bordeaux blend.
My favorite Bedrock…well, along with Compagni Portis.
