Slow ox’d for three hours. 65% Syrah 35% Cabernet Sauvignon. Dark purple color. Nose can be summed up in one word, blackberry! The palate shows a rich mouthfeel. Nice acidity as well. I’m not generally a fan of Cab/Syrah blends, and it’s been years since I drank one of these. While on one hand it presents like blackberry cream pie with toasted crust, it also finishes nice and long with some tart fruit and the acidity and tannin provide some nice structure. Got this at a Costco for $19, so feel like it was a good deal.
