Deep scarlet color with a clear rim. Audouzed for four hours before opening. Nose showed a discouraging mix of sulfur and Brett when opened. After the slow-ox, the sulfur blew off and this made the Brett seem a bit less severe. The palate was raspberry and strawberry with a tannic, rustic edge. While complex, this wine was not a pleasure to drink especially with the band aid element surrounding the bitter, short , tannic finish. One to ponder, might mix with pork or duck , but nothing enjoyable here.
