Medium garnet. Opened up nicely in the glass with some air. Nice dark cherry, plum and fig fruit on the nose carry through to the palate with some tobacco and earthy mineral notes. Doesn’t really show the heat of the vintage and was quite nice with the braised short ribs. A very pleasant experience. This was in a good place and I’d recommend checking in on it if you have some.
