Man, life could be worse. A whole lot worse.

PS: Does Arcadian take visitors?

PPS: Anyone ever purchased fruit from the Talbott family?

Apparently they made their money in men’s ties:

“GCS” = ???

Huh - how much does it cost?

[Neither the web page nor the PDF file seem to have any pricing info.]

Sleepy Hollow produces consistenly great fruit!

Agreed - I’m a big fan of the fruit from Sleepy Hollow. There are few vineyards I can remember as being consistent like that - SH is one, Sangiacomo another, and of course anything in the Pisoni fields (and Gary’s)

Arcadian’s Sleepy Hollow chardonnays and pinot noirs are both excellent. I just loaded up on the '05 sleepy hollow chardonnay through the Arcadian GCS holiday offering. This is one of the few Cal. chardonnays that I really enjoy.

So how does the GCS billing work?

I couldn’t see any prices at the website - do you just have to trust them to not bill your credit card too much, or do you get to choose each time what they will bill you?

Nathan,
GCS members receive 3 or 4 shipments/year containing 4 bottles each - at 20% off list price. I’m on vacation now, so this is all from recollection. Over the last year there were several special offerings from the library collection at discount as well as the opportunity to buy more recent releases at 40% off. Shipping was free for these offers when ordering a case or more.

Yeah, but which four bottles?

[As a thought experiment:] Four bottles costing $100 each, or four bottles costing $10 each?
