2001 Sineann Whistling Ridge Pinot

Found this in the cellar not expecting much so popped and poured, color has almost no fading on the nose wet moss and strawberry. On the palate cherry hints of strawberry wet leaves and black tea (I think) or balsamic. Acidity is bright and some tannic structure. I have had a few bottles from Sineann but not familiar with them but I am more familiar with the vineyard so I will give a ton of credit for this wine to the growers and credit the winemakers for not messing it up  lovely bottle at 21 years!
