Nice deep ruby color. Classic Cali Cab nose with black currants and raspberries and a hint of pine. Peppery, earthy notes give a sense of place, let’s call it Rutherford Dust. The palate is medium-bodied with subtle, restrained, pure fruit, fine tannins resolved, now black cherry flavors, this is a fine wine with balance the hallmark. Ready to drink, this lacks the intensity and complexity of great wine but is a total pleasure today. Rated 90.15.
